The Belmodar (ベルモーダー, Berumōdā?), also known as the Rhinotaur or Rhintaur, is a recurring creature in the Final Fantasy series, first appearing in Final Fantasy VI. It is a bipedal monster with a rhinoceros-like horn.

The Belmodar, also known as the Rhinotaur or Rhintaur, appears as enemy encountered in the South Figaro and Sabre Mountains regions in the World of Balance. It is the strongest enemy in the region and can counter magic attacks with Megavolt. The Mythril Claws can be stolen from it, granting early access to the weapon as it otherwise can't be obtained until Mobliz.

The Belmodar appears as the first boss of the game, encountered in the Earth Shrine. It can later be encountered as a regular enemy or boss in the Dalnakya Plains, Colosseum, and Ancient Ruins Level 3, as well as in the March of the Beasts trial and during the events "Into the Abyss", "Time for Revenge", "Fina, Fragments of Memories", "Where Destinies Intersect", "A World Unitied", "A Blue Prelude", "The Curse of Betrayal", and "A Friend Like You".
