It has the Improved Debuffing passive ability, and is in the Positive Effect synthesis group. It is bought from Plautus's Workshop for 31,200 gil and found in Sunleth Waterscape. When mastered it dismantles to Fractured Horn (x7) and Cobaltite.

Etymology

[view · edit · purge]Deadly nightshade is the common name for atropa belladonna, a perennial herbaceous plant whose foliage and berries are extremely toxic and cause delirium and hallucinations. Witches were believed to use a mixture of deadly nightshade, opium poppy and other plants in making flying ointment. This refers to the weapon's property of inflicting status ailments.
