Behemoth Horn (ベヒーモスの角 or ベヒーモスのツノ, Behīmosu no Tsuno?, lit. Behemoth's Horn) is a recurring item in the Final Fantasy series. It is the horn of the recurring behemoth creature. A different "Behemoth Horn" as per its Japanese name exists as a crafting materia in the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles series. (See here for disambiguation.)

Description

Behemoth Horn is a treasure bought from Burbost Souvenir Emporium, found in Wiz Chocobo Post region (northeast; Map Behemoth-Horn-Location-FFXV) and in Deadeye's lair. It is also obtained from any behemoth-type enemy by breaking their horn during battle. Behemoth Horn sells for 2,500 gil or can be used as an elemancy catalyst.

Behemoth Horn is a Rank A accessory that provides Luck +4. It can be obtained from the Duel Colosseum Lunar Whale course or from the shop by trading in 2000 gil and two Megalixirs.

Etymology[]

Behemoth is a beast mentioned in Job 40:15–24. In addition to mythological creatures, it is likened to dinosaurs, especially sauropods, as well as elephants, hippos, rhinos, and bison. Metaphorically, the term behemoth denotes "an extremely large or powerful entity".
