Behemoth is an enemy in Final Fantasy XII found in the Feywood and Giruvegan. Its monograph drop, Behemoth Steak, is a good farming source for X-Potion, as one can be exchanged in the bazaar for 10 phials. The player can also rarely steal the Giant's Helmet from them.
Five of them are also fought in the Zodiac versions' Trial Mode in Stage 37 where their rare steal is the Hammerhead.

Originally appearing as a great ox, the souls of the many warriors it killed in battle have altered its form forever. This diet of death has added to it skill in combat withal, as it draws strength and knowledge from the warrior-souls imprisoned within its veins.

Etymology[]
Behemoth is a beast mentioned in Job 40:15–24. In addition to mythological creatures, it is likened to dinosaurs, especially sauropods, as well as elephants, hippos, rhinos, and bison. Metaphorically, the term behemoth denotes "an extremely large or powerful entity".
