Strategy Edit

Behemoth can easily be beaten through the use of the Ninja job. The player should equip the Transience support ability for all characters, cast Utsusemi whenever it is not applied on a character, and the Behemoth will be incapable of damaging the party. It will further cause harm to itself via counterattacks whenever it tries to attack the party.

When it uses its Roar ability, Utsusemi will be removed from the entire party, so the player should recast it on all characters when this occurs. If the party does not have a character using the Ninja job should equip items that resist poison, or simply use the Freelancer's Poison Immunity ability and be prepared to revive and heal characters throughout the fight.

Etymology Edit

Behemoth is a beast mentioned in Job 40:15–24. In addition to mythological creatures, it is likened to elephants, hippos, rhinos, and bison. Metaphorically, the term behemoth denotes "an extremely large or powerful entity."
