Beast Killer (ビーストキラー, Bīsuto Kirā?), also known as Beast Slayer, is a recurring support ability in the series, which allows the user to deal extra damage to Beast-type enemies.

Final Fantasy IX[edit | edit source]

Beast Killer is a support ability learned by Zidane for 30 AP, Steiner for 55 AP, Freya for 25 AP, and Amarant for 10 AP. It is taught from the Broadsword, Flash Hat, Leather Wrist, Egoist's Armlet, Platina Armor, Moonstone, and Black Belt, and requires 4 Magic Stones to equip. It allows for physical attacks to deal 1.5x damage to beast-type enemies.

Final Fantasy XI[edit | edit source]

Beast Killer is an ability for the Beastmaster. It gives the user an edge when fighting beasts. It has two tiers learned at level 70 and 94.

Bravely Default[edit | edit source]

Beast Slayer is the job level 4 ability for the Ranger. It deals 1.5 times the damage of a conventional attack to members of the beast family. It costs 8 MP to use.

Bravely Second: End Layer[edit | edit source]

Beast Slayer is the level 5 command ability for the Ranger. It deals 1.5 times the damage of a conventional attack to members of the beast family. It does not stack with similar bonuses granted by weapons. It costs 8 MP to use.
