The Battle Towers (バトルタワー, Batoru Tawā?) are permanent challenge dungeons in Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis. They are accessed as part of the game's Solo Content.
Mechanics[]
As implied by name, the Battle Towers are tower-style quests comprised of consecutive battles, with each floor of a single tower progressively more difficult than the one immediately preceding it. Further, each floor has a different handicap or set thereof that will take effect while the chosen party is in play. All battles consist of three waves of enemies, with minor (purple) and major (red) bosses at designated floors. The time limit for each floor is 12 minutes. Each floor rewards an amount in gil and Character's Memories on its first clear only, though each floor can be replayed as often as desired.
List of Battle Towers[]
Sealed Tower of the Cetra[]
(Japanese name: (セトラの封印塔, Setora no Fūin Tō?). Also known as Midgar Falls (ミッドガルフォール, Middogaru Fōru?).)
This tower consists of 100 floors, with boss battles at various 4-5 floor intervals until B90. Floors B90-B100 are boss floors.
Colosseum of the Chosen[]
(Japanese name: (ウェポンコロッセオ, Wepon Korosseo?) lit. Weapon Colosseum.)
These towers currently consist of up to 40 floors apiece, and require specific party formations to enter battle. Rewards include Character's Noble Memories, which are needed to advance the statstreams of indicated characters post-Level 70. The player will acquire the full sets of shards for all nodes through Level 90 only by clearing all floors. Vincent Valentine, Cid Highwind, and Angeal Hewley each have their own towers containing all of their respective shards.
The Amber Tower[]
Japanese name: (琥珀の塔, Kohaku no tō?).
Required: Any party of Cloud, Tifa, Barret, or Red XIII
Rewards: All 12 initial units' Noble Memories
The Cerulean Tower[]
Japanese name: (蒼穹の塔, Sōkyū no tō?).
Required: Any party of Aerith, Yuffie, Cait Sith, or Zack
Rewards: All 12 initial units' Noble Memories
The Emerald Tower[]
Japanese name: (翠緑の塔, Suiryoku no tō?).
Required: Any party of Sephiroth, Glenn, Matt, or Lucia
Rewards: All 12 initial units' Noble Memories
The Golden Tower[]
Japanese name: (山吹の塔, Yamabuki no tō?).
Required: Party must consist of Aerith, Vincent, and Lucia in any order
Rewards: Vincent's Noble Memories.
The Azure Tower[]
Japanese name: (紺碧の塔, Konpeki no tō?).
Required: Party must consist of Red XIII, Angeal, and Zack in any order
Rewards: Angeal's Noble Memories.
The Peridot Tower[]
Japanese name: (萌葱の塔, Moegi no tō?).
Required: Party must consist of Yuffie, Cid, and Matt in any order
Rewards: Cid's Noble Memories.
