Battle SQ is an album from the SQ arrangement series featuring battle music from the Final Fantasy and Chocobo series', SaGa, Chrono Trigger, Sigma Harmonics and Live A Live. It was released on July 4, 2012, together with another SQ album, Beer SQ.
While portraying the silhouette of a warrior with a sword and shield slashing at the viewer, its flowing composition and abstractness can be taken as an allusion to the screen warps upon a random battle encounter in the early 3D installments of Final Fantasy.
