The Battle Bamboo is a low-ranked pole that provides 39 Attack and 12% Combo Rate. Poles' attack speed is average. In the original PlayStation 2 version, the Battle Bamboo can be bought for 3,200 gil at Rabanastre and Jahara and the Poles 2 license for 25 LP to equip.
In the Zodiac versions, it now provides 34 Attack, 30 Evade, 25 CT, 15% combo rate, and requires the Poles 2 license for 30 LP. It can be bought in Rabanastre, Bhujerba, Dreadnought Leviathan for 2,310 gil, and found as a treasure in the Lhusu Mines (Site 2).
