Base Town

Base Town on the world map.

Base Town (ベーシックタウン, Bēshikku Taun?, lit. Basic Town) is a location in The Final Fantasy Legend, located at the base of the Tower.

Story

The main characters starts their adventure from this town; they learn that the door in town leads to Paradise, but it is sealed by the black sphere. The main characters then set off on their adventure when they learn from a mysterious man that Gen-Bu has hidden the key to the door in the Statue of Hero.

After the defeat of Gen-Bu, the party returns to the sealed door and use the black sphere which breaks the seal on the door. Once broken, they walk through the door and start climbing the Tower.

After defeating Ashura and falling through a pitfall. They hear a voice calling them from a distance asking them if they can climb out, and when they regain consciousness. They find themselves back in Base Town with the people they meet on their journey.

King Armor tells the party that he learned what's more valuable in life, and thanks the party for it. Girl will soon have a baby, and the party congratulates her. Ryu-O wonders if Ashura was merely an illusion, but the party questions him but he doesn't reply. Mileille is remorseful for her actions, but the party reassures her that her sister is a part of her. Sayaka tells the party to not forget about them when they leave this world. A mysterious man tells the party that there's another road that leads to Paradise, but when the party ask who he is, he doesn't give them a reply.

The party goes the the sealed door and uses all four spheres to break the seal, and re-enters the Tower.
