The former captain of the Kingdom of Dalmasca's forces who appears in tales of the distant world known as Ivalice. Basch had the King's full confidence and was held in high regard by the people of Dalmasca until the Archadian Empire invaded and hatched its plot to frame him for the assassination of his own liege. Although false reports claimed that Basch was executed for this crime, he was in fact kept in solitary confinement somewhere in the Nalbina Dungeons. This is where he eventually meets an imprisoned Vaan and his friends, which he then joins in order to escape his shackles.
Basch (5★) description
Basch is a summonable vision and optional playable character in Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. He serves as a character representative from Final Fantasy XII, and has been available for summoning since the event Yensa Sandsea (which originally ran in January 2018 in the Global version). In the Japanese version, he was released alongside Judge Gabranth; however, in the Global version, Gabranth was replaced by Balthier, whose release had been delayed due to Zargabaath taking his place on the Henne Mines banner.
His uniform could be obtained by exchanging urutan flowers at King Mog's shop during the Yensa Sandsea event.

- Limit Burst
Flame Purge (百鬼・烈日の破邪, Hyakki - Retsujitsu no Haja?, lit. Hundred Demons - Evil-Crushing Blazing Sun) is Basch's Limit Burst. Somewhat unique, it is an attack that deals fire-elemental physical damage to one enemy, and enables Basch to negate 3 physical damage taken (just for himself) for three turns. Depending on his rarity, it deals one (5★) or two (6-7★) hits.
The damage modifier will depend on Basch's LB level:
Equipment[]
Basch can equip the following weapon types: daggers, swords, greatswords, katanas, staves, rods, bows, axes, hammers, spears, maces and fists.
He can equip the following armor types: light shields, heavy shields, hats, helms, clothes, light armor, heavy armor and robes.
He can equip accessories. He has an exclusive-effect accessory (which is shared with Zargabaath and Drace): the Judge Magister Cloak (DEF+35, HP +10%), which grants him the passive "Vortex of Judgment" (increase his chance of being targeted by 20%, and increase LB gauge fill rate by 30%).
