Basch is a playable group leader in Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings who leads his own troupe of Yarhi. He has high physical stats, casting him as the party's heavy hitter. He has several defensive abilities as well as powerful attacks, making him similar to a Paladin. His Quickening, Apocalypse Shield, makes his group temporarily invincible. It can be obtained by defeating the Esper Zalera.
Basch joins alongside Ashe late into the game.

Basch equips heavy armor and helms, and wields blades and knightswords.
His ultimate weapon is Excalibur. It has supreme stats and increased attack radius, and boosts Basch's Strength and Magick by +10. It is rewarded for completing "Mission 79: Wings of Midnight".
His best armor piece is Maximillian, which has great stats and resists Fire while being weak to Water. It boosts his Strength and Stamina and is rewarded for completing "Mission 74: Dance of the Dead".
His helms confer various beneficial effects from increased HP to his group, immunity to Slow, boosting his group's attributes when Basch is on low health, to improving his Cover ability.
