Barnabas is accomanied with Dr. Lugae, and deals immense physical damage to your party members making him the first foe you should take down first. Using Mirage, Protect, or just about anything that reduces physical damage is of great help. It also helps to have Rosa, Porom, or Leonora Cast slow on him.
