Bard (Record Keeper character)

A performer capable of bolstering allies with song. The enhancing effects of the bard's music on the party more than make up for his weakness in individual combat.

Overview[]

As with all Core characters, the Bard is a subpar character, with poor stats, limited Soul Breaks, and limited versatility. The Bard is one of the few Core characters that can reach Level 99, but even at that level it is terrible stats save for Magic, Resistance, and Mind. However, it does have a niche use as a supporter. It's access to Rank 4 Support gives it Wrath, Breakdown skills, and status attacks, and Rank 4 Bard gives it some abilities to buff the party's stats, including its own Soul Breaks giving a good boost to attack. This means the Bard, in practice, follows the rule of its official description - it is weak on its own, but very effective at supporting a party of physical fighters.
