Bandersnatch is a fiend in Final Fantasy X encountered on Mt. Gagazet. Its attacks will occasionally cause Sleep or Silence, unless Provoked, where it will use an attack with reduced accuracy. Otherwise, it has a 50% chance of attacking the party member with the lowest HP. Against Valefor, it will not attack.
Bandersnatches drop weapons with any of the elemental strikes, as well as Distill Power (Magic/Strength +3% in the original version). They will drop armor with Sleep Ward and/or Silence Ward.

Etymology[]
Bandersnatch is a creature mentioned twice by the late author Lewis Carroll; in the poem "Jabberwocky" in the Alice novel Through The Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There, and also in the stand-alone poem The Hunting of the Snark (An Agony in 8 Fits).
