Etymology[]
In the Japanese version, Balasa is known as Iblis, which is the name of the primary demon in Islam. Iblis is perceived to be the same being known as Satan in Christianity. The word Iblis comes from the Arabic root word "balasa", meaning "something in despair and frustration".
