Auto Crossbow (オートボウガン, Ōto Bougan?, lit. Auto Bowgun), also known as Auto Bowgun, is a recurring ability in the series. It is an ability associated with Edgar Roni Figaro, which deals non-elemental damage to all enemies.

Auto Crossbow is an ability for Edgar. It is possessed by Edgar by default, but if sold, can be obtained again by buying it at Figaro Castle and South Figaro or by stealing it from Trapper and Metal Hitman. It deals unblockable non-elemental physical damage to all enemies with an Attack power of 125 and ignores split damage.
Final Fantasy XIV[]
Auto Crossbow is a Machinist weaponskill available at level 52. It is a cone attack with a potency of 180, has a 1.5 second global cooldown which cannot be reduced by abilities or equipment, and can only be used while under the effects of Hypercharge.
Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia[]
Auto Crossbow serves as Edgar's S1 ability, striking all targets for combined BRV+HP damage when mastered and dealing extra damage if any target is of the Machinery class. It can be enhanced by mastering his Affinity Weapon Mythril Spear (VI) and further by advancing through Crystal Strength 55.

Description
Auto Crossbow appears under its original name, Auto Bowgun. It is an special ability that costs 3 MP and allows the casterto deal physical damage (1.3x) to all enemies. Besides Edgar—who learns the ability at level 7 (3★)—, Carrie (2★) and Medius (4★) learn Auto Bowgun at levels 21 and 17, respectively.
