(→‎List of augments: Knight +HP augments for 350 & 390 were also swapped around like Bushi's were; 350 is off the right side via summon, and 390 is on the bottom right strip via quickening. Swapped labels to reflect this.)

Augments are support abilities and a part of the License Board in Final Fantasy XII. Augments provide several benefits for a character, including boosted HP, decreased Charge Times, or just boosting attack power. Many of the stat-enhancing augments can also be achieved by equipping the appropriate accessory, and because the effects do not stack, there is no benefit in having both simultaneously.

Enemies can also have their own augments, which are listed here.

Phoenix Lores, Remedy Lores

Phoenix Downs remove the KO status and by default restore a character to 20% of their maximum HP. Each Phoenix Lore boosts the amount of HP restored by 10%, up to a maximum of 50% of maximum HP with 3 Phoenix Lores (up to 100% maximum HP with 3 Phoenix Lores and the Pheasant Netsuke accessory).

Remedy Lores Augmented Negative status effects removed
No Remedy Lores Blind, Poison, Silence, Slow
Remedy Lore 1 Disable, Immobilize, Sap, Sleep
Remedy Lore 2 Confuse, Oil, Petrifying
Remedy Lore 3 Disease, Doom (Remedy only)*, Stop
Unaffected negative effects Critical HP, KO, Reverse (Esuna only), Stone**,

X-Zone (change zones only)

* Indicates unique status effect removals. Doom is exclusively removed by a Remedy with Remedy Lore 3, Reverse exclusively by Esuna, and X-Zone exclusively by changing zones.

** A Remedy can prevent Stone, as it removes Petrifying, which leads to Stone; however, if the countdown completes, only the Gold Needle item, or the White Magick spell Stona can remove Stone.

As long as the party has access to Esuna, only Remedy Lore 3 is useful with its ability to remove the Doom effect. Remedy Lore 1 may also be useful for providing an additional character with the ability to remove Disable, Immobilize and Sap, with the advantage over Esuna of being use without Charge Time. These effects cannot otherwise be removed without Esuna (or Regen, for Sap).
