A proud princess with an iron will and a profound desire for justice. Once bent on taking vengeance upon the Archadian Empire, she sets out in pursuit of a great power, but has a change of heart during her travels with Vaan and Balthier when she learns what it means to confront the past and be free of its shackles.

Description

Ashe is a playable character in Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia who can be recruited during the Lost Chapter The Princess of Dalmasca.

Profile[]

Appearance[]

Ashe's attire comprises of a white and gold cropped shirt over a leather waist swath and a bright pink miniskirt secured by a thick light-blue belt. She wears metal thigh-high leg-guards and a pair of gold metal open-toed shoes with darker pink stockings.

Personality[]

Ashe is worried about becoming trapped in another world, as she is in the midst of the war against Arcadia. She is impatient with frivolous behavior, and is both courageous and proud in trying to push forward on her own rather than deal with the silliness of certain party members. She is still driven forward by a desire for revenge, though she admits to uncertainty over her motives when pressed.

Lost Chapter: The Princess of Dalmasca[]

Ashe enters the world through the Domina Wastelands. Penelo is the first to spot her. Penelo suggests that Ashe join them, but Ashe notices the antics of Laguna, Vaan, and Yuffie, and decides to look for a way back to Ivalice herself.

Her attempts to cross the wastelands by herself do not go well, and the party catches up with her exhausted by the endless monster encounters. She tries to brush off their offers of assistance, believing them to be frivolous time-wasters, but soon apologizes for losing her temper when they say that they are sincerely trying to protect their worlds by fighting here. She asks for their help in returning home—and reluctantly agrees to occasionally listen to Laguna's "stupid stories" in exchange.

Along the way, she explains about the Empire and its occupation of her homeland, Dalmasca. Firion instantly and offers to do whatever he can, but Galuf questions how far she would go to win back freedom. He warns her not to lose herself in her quest for power and that she should fight for those who remain, not to avenge the past. Ashe seems skeptical of his wisdom, but thanks the party for helping her out.

Ashe finds common ground with other royals who have also been summoned by Materia. Although she is uninterested in Edgar's attempts at flirtation, she eagerly discusses the problems of defending a desert kingdom and is intrigued by a fortress that can submerge into the sand. She and Garnet later commiserate over the difficulty of fighting whilst being a princess and having had to resort to a staged kidnapping to get away.

Act 2, Ch. 7: Respite's Authenticity[]

After Sephiroth usurps Materia's throne and declares himself a god of the world of respite, the warriors endeavor to stop him. They travel to a military installation resembling the Lucian countryside fortresses which were commandeered by Niflheim. The warriors immediately encounter Vayne who had been awaiting them at its entrance. Ignis immediately begins to exchange intelligence with Vayne regarding Sephiroth, inviting ire from Ashe. However, as she objects, Cloud tells her to calm down so they can learn more about Vayne's take on Sephiroth's plans.
