Artifacts are a category of enhancement items in Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia.

Mechanics[]

Acquirement and uses[]

Artifacts are typically obtained as mission rewards from select events and their associated token exchanges. By themselves, they are treated as armor, yet they only provide defense equal to their current level.

Leveling and mastery[]

To level an Artifact is similar to leveling weapons or armor, but can use Artifact Orbs obtained through events and exchanges. Previous artifacts for the same character may also be applied for a substantial boost to leveling points.

When an artifact is completely mastered, it gains a rank and a randomized passive ability or set of abilities will be drawn out from it, with a random CP cost to equip between 5 and 20 CP. Each playable character has a limit of 7 ability sets, and can equip up to 3 of these at any given time. Players may learn ability sets as many times as is desired, with any amount over 7 triggering the option to replace an existing set. Artifacts may also be sold for small amounts of gil and inventory space as the player sees fit.

Purchasing a 30-day basic Moogle Pass (US$4.99) will guarantee that all High Eidoja artifacts will spawn fully-powered (red) abilities upon mastery.
