Army's Paeon (戦士達のピーアン, Senshitachi no Paion?, lit. Soldiers Paeon) is a recurring Bard ability in Final Fantasy series.
Appearances[]
Final Fantasy XI[]
Army's Paeon is a series of songs available to Bards. There are five versions of Army's Paeon, I through V. They have an effect similar to Regen on multiple targets. Army's Paeon can stack with the effect of Regen. Since a character can be affected by up to two songs, a bard can place two Paeons on the same player as long as they have a different number.
Final Fantasy XIV[]
Army's Paeon (軍神のパイオン, Gunshin no Paion?, lit. War God's Paeon) is a level 40 Bard spell. It is learned after completing the quest "Bard's-eye View". Army's Paeon deals unaspected damage to a target with a potency of 100. It increases the direct hit rate of the user and all nearby party members within 50 yalms of the user by 3% for 45 seconds.
Army's Paeon activates the Song Gauge, where it displays the time remaining for its duration and the number of stacks it currently has. There is an 80% chance every 3 seconds (or from level 68 onwards, whenever Empyreal Arrow is used) that the trigger effect Repertoire activates, granting one stack (maximum of 4) and reducing weaponskill cast time and recast time, spell cast time and recast time, and auto-attack delay by 4%, to a maximum of 16%. Using Army's Paeon also grants the Army's Coda, enabling or enhancing the usage of Radiant Finale.
