Behind the scenes[]

Composer Masashi Hamauzu said that the production of "Arbiter of Fate" was extremely challenging. He felt like he was fighting an impregnable enemy, because it was about a month before the end of development when he got the footage and started working on it, and because it was the biggest boss character he had ever seen, in terms of sheer size and length of musical composition. And in every project, he writes with the intention that "this will be my last battle theme", so that put extra pressure on him. But as if pulled by this so huge enemy, bright chord progressions and gradually increasing tempo structures were created.[1]
