Aquamarine (アクアマリン, Akuamarin?) is a recurring item in the Final Fantasy series.

Final Fantasy IX[]

The Aquamarine is an item and an Add-on that teaches the abilities Leviathan and HP+10%. When used as an item mid battle, it restores HP equal to the amount of Aquamarine in the player's inventory x20. It cannot be used in the field.

It can be found at the Iifa Tree as part of the story, and by using a Dead Pepper where Shimmering Island used to be on endgame (x10), and by converting four Ore in the shrine in Daguerreo.

Leviathan's Tsunami attack gains more power the more Aquamarines in the player's inventory, as follows:

Tsunami attack power = 59 + No. of Aquamarines

Final Fantasy XI[]

Description

Aquamarine is an item used to make Silk Cuffs, Aqua Earring, Aquamarine Ring, Marble Bed, Adaman Kilij, and Ox Tongue. It can be obtained from the "Beast from the East" quest. It can be bought from Bornahn in Al Zahbi, Teerth in Bastok Markets, and Visala in Bastok Markets. It is dropped by Skull of Pride.

Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings[]

Aquamarine is a medium-ranked Blue Gemstone that can be scavenged from Sparkling Stone on Tormelados, Isle of the Megalith and Tswarra, Isle of the Lost or bought at the Sky Saloon in Chapter 8 for 3037 gil (10% discount). It can be used to craft Silver Staff, Rime Wand, Ice Lance, and Rigel.

Final Fantasy XIV[]

Aquamarine is a type of gem extracted from ore deposits near Costa del Sol in Eastern La Noscea. It is chiefly used by Goldsmiths to craft various mid-level jewelry intended for healers.
