Role-playing games in the iOS 11 App Store.

The iOS App Store is Apple's iOS application distribution platform. It is available only on native iOS devices.

The App Store's content encompasses numerous categories and purposes, offered at prices ranging from free to US$50 and beyond. It is estimated that roughly one third of the apps available are free.

Notices

• Availability: Most Square Enix games require iOS 7.0 or later to run. This limits availability to:
  • iPhone: iPhone 4 and all later models.
  • iPad: iPad 2 and all later models, including all Air, Pro, and mini families
  • iPod touch: iPod touch (5th generation) and later models.

Back versions may be available to other devices running iOS 4.3 and above. However, these versions retain any issues fixed in later releases.

• 64-bit support: From 2014 onward, apps can be compiled for 64-bit devices, which include:
  • iPhone: iPhone 5s and all later models, including iPhone SE.
  • iPad: iPad (5th generation) and later models, all iPad Pro models, all iPad Air models, and mini 2 and later models
  • iPod touch: iPod touch (6th generation) and later models.

WARNING: Legacy 32-bit apps are not supported in iOS 11 and later.

• Super Retina display support: Most Final Fantasy titles have been adapted for the screen sizes and resolutions of the iPhone 5 and later, but have not been formatted for Plus models or the iPhone X family as yet. The screen will be pillarboxed or letterboxed as appropriate for these devices until an update is released.

Removed titles

In addition, the following titles have been removed from all regions due to end-of-life (EOL) status. These may still exist in the player's iCloud history, but will not function:

Shunted titles

Some titles still exist on the App Store that have been discontinued. Square Enix has not pulled them since the games have closed. They do not connect to a network, but have been shunted to perform other functions for prior users of the title. They should not be downloaded or reviewed by new users; and are safe to remain installed on existing devices in order to complete post-service tasks, at which point they may be removed at any time:
