Ankheg (アンクヘッグ, Ankuheggu?), also known as PEDE, Megapede, Anku Heggu, Centipeelr, and Centipede, is a recurring enemy in the series.

Ankheg is an enemy fought at Mount Gulg and around Crescent Lake, using basic physical attacks that can inflict Poison. They appear in groups of up to 4, but are otherwise weak foes.
Final Fantasy V[edit | edit source]
Ankheg is an enemy fought outside the Phoenix Tower, and fight within groups of itself. It attacks using the powerful Earthquake ability, but otherwise is easy to defeat with the usage of Blizzaga.

Ankheg is an enemy fought at Northern Cave and Below Castle Lux. They are highly dangerous due to their Earthquake ability, and thus should be defeated quickly.
