Anchag is a Rare Game enemy in Final Fantasy XII found in the Karydine Glacier area of the Paramina Rift. It is a stronger version of Dullahan. It's an easy source of Damascus Steel, an ingredient required for making Gemsteel, one of the ingredients needed for making Tournesol and Masamune/Kumbha.
Anchag and Bluesang are the only Rare Game to derive from the same enemy, namely a Dullahan. Both can be robbed of the Damascus Steel.
Bestiary entry[]
Derivation: Dullahan
- Dullahan that has eschewed its blood brand for a llonbare false-blade. This strain, as yet unrecorded in the Camp annals, is hunted in the Paramina Rift.

How to find[]
Anchag is spawned by killing all 12 enemies (even the docile Wild Onions) in Karydine Glacier of the Paramina Rift. The player does not need to leave and re-enter the area to spawn Anchag, simply killing all other enemies will spawn it at the center-south region. It appears with the Trophy Rare Game Ancbolder if the player has started the Hunt Club quest. Though the Ancbolder can only be felled once, the Anchag will appear every time the proper conditions are met, but only once per visit to the Paramina Rift. Anchag can be farmed for Damascus Steel.
