An Amidatelion as seen in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers.

Amidatelion is a boss in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers. She is forced to defend herself when Layle and Keiss chase her to the Wine Cellar.

Battle[edit | edit source]

Amidatelion has no HP and only needs to be hit once, but she is incredibly agile, allowing her to easily get away from the party. She also has the ability to dispel direct kinetic attacks using her dimensional powers, blocking the attack by sending the player's waves away, then counterattacking by shooting wine barrels from multiple portals she can rapidly make at the same time. Her only attack in this fight is the Portal Shot, which she uses to shoot barrels at Layle and Keiss, but she can be quite annoying for beginners.

Players should avoid direct kinetic attacks altogether and try picking up the first thing they see to throw at her and hope she does not see it coming and teleport out of the way or shatter it with a Portal Shot. Once she is hit, she will run to the exit, starting the chase again.

She is later encountered again in the Rivelgauge Monastery where she will hide among the people using a robe, forcing you to attack each person with direct kinetic attacks until you find her. Once she is found she will use Portal Shot to attack you by launching buckets of water from every direction and then jump towards the crowd to hide among them where you will have to start the search again.
