Description
Amethyst is an item and an Add-on, which can teach the abilities Atomos and Demi. When used as an item, an Amethyst will restore HP equal to the number of Amethysts in stock x28.
In addition, the damage formula for Atomos depends on the number of Amethysts in the player's possession, as shown below:
Amethyst can be synthesized at Daguerreo, the Black Mage Village, or from Hades on disc 4 for 200 gil, and requires an Ore and Annoyntment to create. It can also be found on the Outer Island Chocograph (x21), Forgotten Island Chocograph (x13), or Alexandria on disc 3, and dropped from Ring Leader and Torama.
