Amethyst can be obtained by synthesizing it at Daguerreo, the Black Mage Village, or from Hades on Disc 4 for 200 gil, and requires an Ore and Annoyntment to create. It can also be found on the Outer Island Chocograph (x21), on the Forgotten Island Chocograph (x13), or in Alexandria on Disc 3, as well as won from Ring Leader and Torama.
