Amarant is a playable character representing Final Fantasy IX in the Japanese version of Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia. He can be recruited in Lost Chapter, The Flaming Amarant.

Appearance[]
Amarant is a man with red dreadlocks that cover his eyes, a red chinstrap beard, bluish skin and large forearms. He wears a green vest and trousers, a red belt round his waist, red bands on his upper arms and green bands on his wrists, and brownish-red boots. He has salamander tattoos on his shoulders
His alternate costume is based on the artwork by Yoshitaka Amano. 
He has a red pink hair, pale skin, a scar on his right cheek and his eyes are uncovered. He wears a white shirt underneath the black vest, black bands on both his upper arms and wrist, gray cargo pants and a black boots.
