Story

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow. (Skip section)

Amanda was captured from her home in Menos and forced to fight monsters for the Dark Lord's entertainment along with the other slaves.

Some time after Sumo escape from Glaive Castle, Amanda escapes and makes her way back home to Menos, only to find her brother Lester has traveled to Jadd to play his harp. Upon arriving in Jadd, she discovers Lester has been imprisoned by the city's ruler, Davias. When Sumo lands in Menos after falling from Glaive's Airship, Amanda steals the pendant from him, hoping Davias will take it in exchange for freeing Lester. Instead, Davias turns Lester into a parrot, forcing Amanda to travel to the Cave of Medusa to get the tears from the Medusa in order to cure Lester.

Sumo opens the entrance of the cave and finds Amanda loitering about. He immediately ask why she took the pendant, but she tells him that it was for her brother's sake. Sumo tells her that he'll help her out.

They arrive in Medusa's lair at the end of the dungeon. After defeating Medusa, neither Sumo or Amanda can find a single drop of tear anywhere. Before they leave for Jadd, Amanda is hurt and tells Sumo that Medusa must have bitten her during the fight. Stating that one bitten by a Medusa turns into a Medusa, and she will be turning into a Medusa in a short while. She begs Sumo to kill her and take her tears. Sumo refuses, but she begs him one last time before turning into a monster.

After Sumo strikes her down, and he ask apologizes to her for doing so. Taking a tear from her face before leaving the cave, he heads for Jadd to uncurse Lester.

Spoilers end here.
