Description
Air Anchor is Edgar's ultimate Tools in Final Fantasy VI. When used with the Tools command, it inflicts heat on one target, causing it to self-destruct after acting. Though the ability is unblockable, it fails on targets immune to death.

Air Anchor can either be found in the Cultists' Tower or stolen from Gamma. It can also be obtained through the Coliseum by betting a Genji Armor.
Gogo can also use any Tools abilities also, as long as the tool still exists in the player's inventory and Tools is equipped in Gogo's ability menu.
Use[]
Air Anchor is a guaranteed kill on enemies not immune to instant death. The problem with the ability is that Chainsaw already has a chance to kill an enemy, and can do so before they act at all. Additionally, the more powerful enemies that the player would prefer to instantly kill are immune to death anyway, meaning Air Anchor is wasted against them. As such, the ability is awkward to use in comparison to other options.
