The Aevis Killer (Ab Splitter in the Anthology release and Avis in the RPGe translation) is a high-ranked bow that provides 89 Attack and deals critical damage against Aevis enemies. It can be dropped or stolen from the Tot Aevis, and obtained by using several Elixirs on a monster-in-a-box on the 25th floor of the Phoenix Tower.

in the Zodiac versions, it now provides 25 Attack, 36 CT, 5% critical rate, and requires the Bows 2 license for 30 LP. It can be bought in Rabanastre, Bhujerba, Dreadnought Leviathan for 1,250 gil, or dropped by Slaven in the Lhusu Mines (3% chance).
