Aergmhus Saehstymmsyn is a non-playable character from Final Fantasy XIV. He is a former member of the Maelstrom who joined the Crystal Braves, and eventually becoming a member of the Scions of the Seventh Dawn.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn[]
Once a man of the Maelstrom, Aergmhus volunteered to join the Crystal Braves upon hearing rumors of an Eorzean Grand Company. Aergmhus performed well in the 2nd Unit until Ilberd's betrayal.[1]
Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward[]
Aergmhus was imprisoned to the Rising Stones, along with Alianne, Riol, Ephemie, and others Braves still loyal to the Scions. Yuyuhase ordered the 3rd to keep them under constant guard, but when the Ilberd moved to carry out General Raubahn's execution, they were forced to withdraw all but a small force that the trapped group managed to attack by surprise and ensure their escape.[2]
Even after the company's dissolution, Aergmhus and a handful of his compatriots still pledge allegiance to Alphinaud. Since joining the Scions of the Seventh Dawn, he has worked often alongside the adventurer Bluomwyda.[1][3] Aergmhus and Bluomwyda are constantly away from the Rising Stones because they are always on missions.[4]
Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker[]
Aergmhus and Bluomwyda returned from their mission in the provinces, where they built up an information network at Riol's behest. Tataru has asked them to take over command of the Rising Stones while she travels to help the Scions in Old Sharlayan.[5]
After the Scions of the Seventh Dawn disband, Aergmhus says that he has been away from home for a long time and that at first he will return to Limsa Lominsa and pay a visit to the Drowning Wench.[6] In Limsa Lominsa Aergmhus met with some of his former Maelstrom comrades. Commander Rhiki invited him to rejoin the Maelstrom, but Aergmhus refused the offer.[7] Aergmhus preferred to follow Bluomwyda's plans to visit the Roegadyn's ancestral homeland, the isle of Aerslaent in the Northern Empty, but information about the current state of the island has been scarce in recent days.[8]

Aergmhus loves his drink and a few cups will have him sotted and sobbing into his wine, proclaiming his love for all mankind.[1]
