Adelbert Steiner (Record Keeper)

Captain of the Knights of Pluto, an order that serves Alexandria's Queen Brahne, Steiner has sworn to serve House Alexandros. Stubborn to a fault and set in his ways, Steiner's every act is in service to the royal family.

Character Profile

Steiner appears as a boss and a playable character in Final Fantasy Record Keeper. He first appears as a boss aboard the M.S. M.S. Prima Vista, and is automatically recruited as the First Time Reward for completing Alexandria Castle, Part 3 in the Realm of FF IX on the Classic difficulty track. He could also be recruited more easily via the Challenge Events To the Holy Land, A Place to Call Home, and Someone to Protect.

Steiner is a top-notch tank with some of the best defensive stats and is also a decent Spellblade. He can be slow and is more vulnerable to enemy magic than other units. The player would do well to ensure that any armor given to Steiner can offset the latter weakness.

Steiner can use Physical abilities up to rarity rank 5, Spellblade up to rarity rank 5, and Knight up to rarity rank 5.

His initial Soul Break is Knight Shield, which at the expense of one Soul Gauge segment temporarily raises user's Defense. The sword Defender (IX) allows Steiner to use Thunder Slash, which at the expense of one Soul Gauge segment swings a blade of lightning at a single target reducing its Defense.
