Template:Sideicon Template:FFXIII Enemies Adamantortoise is an enemy in Final Fantasy XIII. It is also a mark in Mission 63. Adamantortoise is essentially an easier version of Adamantoise with less HP and lower stagger point, but with the same item drops. They also have a notably higher resilience to debuffs than the Adamantoise, but can be defeated using the same strategy. Adamantortoises can be found chained to the ground in the passageways to Eastern Tors valley. The other one is accompanied by three Gorgonopsids. Adamantortoises have shorter tusks than Adamantoises and their shells are smoother. Damage becomes halved during stagger and it is susceptible to Slow, Deprotect, Deshell, Imperil, Curse, and Daze.
