The ultimate in helms, made by an elite craftsman who spent half a year on this item. It is made from only the choicest pieces of carapace from an adamantite shell. It is hard and light, yet able to prevent impacts from penetrating to the brain. The only drawback is a slight odor.

Adamant Helm (アダマンヘルム, Adaman Herumu?) is a recurring helmet in the series. It is often one of the strongest helmets in the game, providing excellent defenses including resistances to elemental attacks.

Final Fantasy IV: The After Years[edit | edit source]

Adamant Helm is the strongest helmet, providing 25 Defense, 10 Magic Defense, 10% Evasion, 11% Magic Evasion, +5 to all stats, resistance to Lightning-elemental attacks, and immunity to Blind, Toad, and Instant Death. It can only be obtained by trading Adamantite x2, and can be equipped by everyone except Calca and Brina.

Adamant Helm is a high-ranked helmet that provides 10 P.DEF and 2 M.DEF. It can be bought for 4,500 pg at Eternia.

Adamant Helm is the strongest helmet, providing 25 Defense, 10 Magic Defense, +3 Strength, and +3 Vitality.

Dissidia Final Fantasy[edit | edit source]

Adamant Helm is a level 99 helmet that provides +249 Bravery, +1 Defense, and is 1/3rd of the "Adamant Chains" set. It can be obtained from the shop by trading 16,240 gil, Crystal Helm, and Adamantite.

Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy[edit | edit source]

Adamant Helm is a level 100 helmet that provides +290 Bravery, +1 Defense, and is 1/3rd of the "Adamant Chains" set. It can be obtained from the shop by trading 86,440 gil, Giant's Helm, Adamantite, and Warrior's Hope x5.

Etymology[edit | edit source]

Adamantite and similar words including Adamant and Adamantine are used to refer to any especially hard substance, whether composed of diamond, some other gemstone, or some type of metal.
