Adamant Armlet in Final Fantasy Record Keeper [Type-0].

Adamant Armlet (アダマンの小手 or アダマンのこて or アダマングローブ, Adaman no Kote or Adaman-gurōbu?), also known as Adamant Gloves and Adamant Gauntlets, is a recurring accessory in the Final Fantasy series.

Final Fantasy IV: The After Years[]

Adamant Gloves are the best gloves, providing 20 Defense, 10 Magic Defense, 10% Evasion, 11% Magic Evasion, immunity to Sleep, Paralysis, and Berserk, and +5 to all stats. It can be obtained by trading an Adamantite, and can be equipped by everyone except Calca and Brina.

Final Fantasy Type-0[]

The Adamant Gauntlet increases Defense by 100 and grants Endure effect. It can be obtained in the Agito tower.

Final Fantasy Dimensions[]

Adamant Armlet is the strongest armlet, providing 18 Defense.

Bravely series[]

Gauntlets made by sewing together the bellows-shaped multi-jointed protrusions found on the carapace of the male adamantite shell. While they are light and very durable, it is difficult to do any sort of detailed with the hands because the four fingers are enclosed together.

Bravely Default description

In Bravely Default, Adamant Gauntlets is an accessory that provides +8 P.DEF and +1 M.DEF. It can be bought for 3,000 pg at Eternia.

In Bravely Second: End Layer, Adamant Gauntlets is an accessory that increases P.DEF by 8 and M.DEF by 1. It can be bought in Caldisla for 2000 pg, or stolen from Adamantite Shell.

Etymology[]

Adamantite and similar words including Adamant and Adamantine are used to refer to any especially hard substance, whether composed of diamond, some other gemstone, or some type of metal.
