This creature's defenses are strong, but it is weak vs. magic. Make sure not to get blown out of the party by its Sneeze.

Final Fantasy VI PlayStation Bestiary entry

The Adamankary, also known as Adamanchyt or Adamchyt, is an enemy in Final Fantasy VI.

Battle

It is a tough opponent, has high Defense, no elemental weaknesses, and it has a 1/3 chance of countering physical attacks with Snort. For this reason, it is highly preferable the player use magic to fight them. Level two spells like Blizzara and Thundara work well. If Strago is at level 24, his Stone Lore will do increased damage, as the Adamankary is also level 24, and thus it can likely kill them in one hit.

AI script

Attack Turns:
1st Turn: Attack (100%)
2nd Turn: Attack (66%) or Claw (33%)

If attacked by "Attack": Snort (33%)
