Acid Mist (アシッドミスト, Ashiddo Misuto?) is a recurring enemy ability in the Final Fantasy series. It is a damaging (usually Water-elemental) area attack that also inflicts a harmful status.

Appearances

Final Fantasy XI

Acid Mist is a magical enemy ability that deals Water damage to enemies within an area of effect with an additional Attack Down effect. It is used by the Leech family.

Final Fantasy XIV

Acid Mist is an attack used by monsters of the ochu and leech families. When used by ochus, it is an area of effect attack that most commonly inflicts Poison on nearby enemies, but it can instead inflict Heavy, Slow, or Silence depending on the user. When used by leeches, it inflicts water damage and the Dropsy status.

Final Fantasy Record Keeper

Acid Mist is used by Coeurl O' Nine Tails, the boss of the "The Thousand Maws of Toto-Rak, Part 1" Core Dungeon. It deals damage and inflicts Poison on all targets.
