AA unit of the YoRHa soldiers, a group from a faraway world made up of androids. Though capable of close-range combat, he was especially designed as a research unit and is adept at gaining information via hacking. His official designation is YoRHa No. 9 Type S.
Character description
9S is a UR-rarity unit of the Lightning element whose main job is YoRHa No. 9 Type S, while his sub jobs are Nightblade and Viking. He can equip the following items: Spear, Hat, Clothing, Accessory. His unit cost is 80.
His Master Ability increases Lightning unit allies' Max HP by 10% and Lightning Attack by 15, as well as his own DEF by 10. His Limit Burst is Neural Hackingm, which raises own DEF Piercing Rate for 3 turns, then deals Lightning Dmg (L) to target.
Black like a garment of mourning, this is the combat outfit in which 9S is always clad. Not only does it protect against attacks from enemy lifeforms, it is said to reduce the impact of falling from heights and the adverse effects of extreme temperatures while also rendering attacks towards the mind less damaging.

His Trust Master Reward is the YoRha Combat Clothes armor, which bestows HP +382, DEF +10, CRT EVA +12 and the Curative Field ability, which bestows Regen on allies within area around self & nullifies status ailments (Sleep, Confusion, Charm) for 3 turns.

NieR:Automata is a UR-rarity vision card. At Lv. 99, its stats are HP +322, ATK +150 and SPR +4. Its party abilities are Wind Unit Luck Up 35%, Wind Unit SPR Up 8 and Wind Unit Critical Dmg Up 25. Its limited bestowed effects are ATK Up 30% for Wind units only, as well as Slash Attack Res Piercing Rate Up 20 and AGI Up 6% for 2B only. It was illustrated by Akihiko Yoshida.
