Description
The 4-Point Shuriken is Yuffie's default weapon in Episode INTERmission in Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. It teaches the Elemental Ninjutsu abilities, which allow Yuffie to change the element of her ninjutsu attacks, and is a vital component of her play style.
As an initial weapon, the 4-Point Shuriken has mixed and well-rounded stats while not excelling in either physical or magical power. It is her fastest weapon if the player is good at performing precision guards.

Use[]
4-point shuriken is a balanced weapon for Yuffie, equally good in both physical and magical damage. Its AP Up upgrade increases the AP yield for all materia equipped by both Yuffie and Sonon. Its Thievery allows Yuffie to use Mug to steal items from enemies while also dealing damage; most enemies don't have anything worthwhile to nab, however, and there are vending machines sprinkled throughout if the player needs to stock up on anything. The Elemental Damage Up passive improves Yuffie's Elemental Ninjutsu further.
Behind the scenes[]
When wearing the Enfeeblement Ring, Yuffie becomes a green toad with a headband, her protective gauntlet, and carrying a tiny 4-Point Shuriken on her back.
Etymology and symbolism[]
A shuriken is a traditional Japanese concealed weapon that was generally used for throwing, and sometimes stabbing or slashing.
The weapon has a swallow engravement on one of the tips. The same symbol appears on the covers of Yuffie's manuscripts. In Japan, it is considered good luck to have a swallow nesting in one's house.
