??? is a boss from Final Fantasy X. The Piggyback guide refers to this boss as "Kimahri". The battle occurs after a cutscene of the massive Ronso charging toward Tidus on Besaid. Upon defeating the Ronso, Yuna, Wakka, and Lulu introduce him as Kimahri, another of Yuna's guardians.

Stats[]

Battle[]

??? opens with three physical attacks followed by a jump attack, which it will then alternate with a physical attack. It will not use Jump if Provoked.

Strategy[]

The player should use basic sword strikes and Swordplay, if possible. Tidus can consume Potions to heal, but his health will return to full after the fight, so conserving Potions is a good idea. He can use Cheer a couple of times, heal if necessary, then unleash a devastating attack, usually resulting as an Overkill.

Strategy.

By the time the player first arrives here, they will likely be unable to hit the target score on the mystery assailant without having drawn a high-level weapon or two, but an all-out assault will quickly bring him to sense. Wakka is the prize for just completing the dungeon, so come back and spar with him when the party gains strength.

Yuna was part of a Bonus Quest in Elite mode that ran from Third Pilgrimage until the retirement of the Quest system; her early acquirement assured access to one of the most powerful mages.
