Nhảy dây là một minigame trong Final Fantasy IX. Người chơi có thể dùng Vivi tham gia ở Alexandria lúc đầu game bằng cách đến gần cô bé nhảy dây ở bên trái phòng bán vé. Sau đó, khi Alexandria bị Kuja và Bahamut tấn công, cô bé sẽ xuất hiện ở Bell Tower. Lúc này Eiko cũng có thể tham gia. Minigame này có nhiều phần thưởng như gil, các loại Cards hiếm và một Key Item xuất hiện rất sớm trong game. Biểu tượng trên đầu Vivi cho biết khi nào người chơi phải nhảy lên. Nhịp điệu của trò chơi thay đổi khi người chơi càng nhảy được nhiều lần.

- 20 cú nhảy = 10 gil
- 50 cú nhảy = Cactuar Card
- 100 cú nhảy = Genji Card
- 200 cú nhảy = Alexandria Card
- 300 cú nhảy = Tiger Racket Card
- 1000 cú nhảy = King of Jump Rope (Key Item)
