Masashi Hamauzu

Masashi Hamauzu (浜渦正志, Hamauzu Masashi) là một nhạc sĩ, nhân viên của Square Enix. Ông sinh ngày 20/9 năm 1971 trong một gia đình âm nhạc ở Đức nhưng lớn lên ở Nhật. Từ mẫu giáo, Masashi Hamauzu đã bộc lộ hứng thú với âm nhạc và được cha mẹ dạy piano.

Masashi Hamauzu và Junya Nakano được Square Enix tuyển dụng để hỗ trợ Nobuo Uematsu soạn nhạc trong Final Fantasy X, lúc đó việc này vẫn còn quá sức đối với ông. Sau khi Nobuo Uematsu rời Square năm 2004, Hamauzu trở thành nhạc sĩ đầu đàn của Square Enix. Ông là nhà soạn nhạc chính của Dirge of Cerberus, sau đó được biểu diễn bởi Dàn Nhạc Giao Hưởng Tokyo. Hamauzu cũng một mình soạn nhạc cho Final Fantasy XIII. Ngày 20/1 năm 2010, ông rời Square Enix.
