Maroda (マローダ, Marōda) is a non-player character from Final Fantasy X. He is a Guardian of his elder brother Isaaru, along with their younger brother Pacce.
Story[]
Final Fantasy X[]

The player first meets Maroda in Djose Temple where he and his brother Pacce are traveling with Isaaru on their own pilgrimage. He next appears in the airship alongside Isaaru and Pacce during the escape from Bikanel Home. Following the events after seeing a Mika the final time, Maroda and Pacce are standing in front of the main entrance into Bevelle on the High Bridge. All he says are the lines "Bevelle is closed!" and "I heard that Yuna being a traitor was just some Al-Bhed rumor. Why would the Al-Bhed make up a terrible rumor?".
Final Fantasy X-2[]
Following the Eternal Calm, Maroda grows apart from his brother, joining the Youth League while Isaaru aligns himself with New Yevon. Yuna, Rikku, and Paine meet him at the Den of Woe and he warns them against investigating the cave. When Nooj, Baralai, and Gippal disappear into the Farplane, Maroda goes to Bevelle to assist with holding Spira together in the confusion.
Trivia[]
- Maroda can be recruited as a blitzball player in Final Fantasy X-2.
- Even though Maroda is the brother of Isaaru and Pacce, he looks quite different from them, particularly, their skin color. It's possible Maroda may be adopted.
