The Stolen Fayth artwork in Final Fantasy X.
The Cavern of the Stolen Fayth, also known as the Sunken Cave, is located in a gorge to the north of the Calm Lands, near the entrance to Mt. Gagazet in Final Fantasy X. The cave hides a Fayth that legend says was stolen long ago to prevent Summoners from completing their pilgrimage, possibly by the Al Bhed.

The location in-game
Final Fantasy X[]
This area is an optional sidequest. Lulu provides the most information about the cave as the first Summoner she guarded, Lady Ginnem, died there after deciding to locate the Aeon, Yojimbo, hidden in a chamber at the bottom of the cave. After reaching the end of the cavern, the Lady Ginnem's Unsent form will attack the party together with the Aeon Yojimbo. Afterward the party can enter Yojimbo's chamber and request his services for a price.
In the International and PAL versions, should the party venture back into the Cavern, a Summoner would call upon Dark Yojimbo to fight the party after Yuna is branded a heretic by Bevelle.
Temple Aeon[]
This is where Yojimbo's Fayth lies and where the player has to make a contract for Yojimbo's services. The contract involves paying him 300,000 Gil for his services before he joins the player, but the player can haggle this by offering Yojimbo less money and he will lower his price. If the player were to pay him triple the amount he asks (works even after "haggling"), he will throw in 2x Teleport Spheres in for free.
Temple Trials[]

Cavern of the Stolen Fayth Glyph
Battling the way through tough fiends, a battle with Yojimbo and a significant amount of gil are needed to obtain the Aeon.
Final Fantasy X-2[]
The cave, like the Calm Lands, has become a tourist attraction; something which the Gullwings have reservations about. It becomes accessible in Chapter 3, when fiends begin emerging from the Chamber of the Fayth. An optional mission begins where Yuna must rescue the trapped tourists either one by one, or all together in a specific order. After the rescue mission the player can enter the Chamber to fight Yojimbo, possessed by Shuyin's despair.
