==Items== Unlike in the other "bonus quest" Close Encounter of the Terra Kind, the player keeps their normal inventory for the quest and the items discovered during the quest can be kept afterward. *Superior Restorative *Magitek Core (climb up a ladder, next to a blue/black/yellow spotted frog) *Elixir *Phoenix Down *Ether *Mega-Potion *Hi-Elixir *Megalixir ===Collecting Allagan Tomestones=== Allagan Tomestones are items found in batches of 30 within the Perpetouss Keep used for trading in Y'jhimei's trading post after defeating Garuda. The player can find three batches of 30 tomestones for a total of 90 per playthrough of the quest. The tomestones can also be obtained by defeating the boss Garuda; however, this only yields them one at a time, making collecting them from the Keep the superior method. The player can find a batch of 30 tomestones by going past the statue of the Messenger of the Winds, up the stairs and jumping onto a ledge from the top, crossing the crates on the middle of the ledge, and dropping down on the ground level. The tomestones are in the middle of this secluded area amid shipping containers that is only reached from dropping in from above. Another batch of 30 tomestones can be found by climbing the stairs (the same stairs as previous batch) in the top left corner of the in-game map. At the top, the player can jump onto a ledge and climb on top of the crates stacked in the middle of the ledge to see there is another, even higher ledge up ahead along the top border of the map. To get there, the player needs to take a running jump from the crates and use the warp button at the apex of their leap. This ledge has a hole in the middle. The player needs to jump into the hole and then use warp immediately after falling past the structure to get to another ledge with crates that act as stairs to another ledge above it that contains the tomestones. The only way to get there is to climb the crates on the ledge below. Another batch of 30 tomestones can be picked up on top of a structure covered in gray tarpaulin. The structure is near the crane area where Y'jhimei and Noctis used to survey the Keep at the start of the quest. There are two tarpaulin structures and the tomestones batch is on the same structure as the one with the green frog. There are two methods of picking up this batch: from the ground level or from atop the crane. #From the ground level, the player needs to locate the tarpaulin structure with the frog and go to the side of the tarpaulin where there is a fence near it. One must position Noctis so that he is just a short distance behind the long sewer cover on the ground. While running through the sewer cover, the player needs to jump and warp forward. With Noctis facing the correct angle, and at the right timing, Noctis shall land on the tarpaulin (sometimes he may land just on the edge, so it is best to not move when Noctis is about to land). #From atop the crane, the player needs to jump onto the wooden box next to the crane as during the start of the quest. The player can see the structures covered in gray tarpaulin on the ground level below, and the tomestones batch is on top of one of them. The player needs to drop down from the crate suspended by the crane, and then warp forward once during the free fall to land on the tarpaulin. ===Farming Allagan Tomestones=== After the quest is complete, the player can repeatedly defeat the boss Garuda and obtain 1x Allagan Tomestone each time. If the player uses New Game Plus or Chapter Select to restart the quest, they will lose all Allagan Tomestones and Vortex Feathers in their inventory. However, items obtained from Y'jhimei's trading post will be retained. It's recommended not to use New Game Plus or Chapter Select (which resets all other sidequests) to collect more Allagan Tomestones since restarting the quest is not needed to collect all the worthwhile items. If the player plans to restart the quest, it is advised to restart the quest only once all Allagan Tomestones have been redeemed.
