Just finished playing the Mario rpg remake a few days ago and i hope it follows that game's vision of a remake instead of VII's vision of a remake. Update the visuals and add more modern tune ups to the gameplay and some stuff that expand the universe! VII remake looks great visually but i don't think IX needs to match that look, let it stay cartoonish.
It never bothered me personally. I love the main world theme but it makes sense from a storytelling perspective to have it be covered in mist and bad music plays. It's obviously a design choice from that era in gaming and would be different today but is what it is,i just start back at disc 1. 💪
Original. Always preferred turn based combat and Ive have a personal bias for the order console generations

FFXIII PS5 port finally but ill take an IX remake about now, hopefully VIII gets one soon too. Under appreciated game.
Glad to see people still play this game for the first time and experience the magic like i did all those years back, easily my favorite game of all time.
Month late but honestly I don't feel like doing a post on it. I really enjoyed the game and think it's the second best FF since X. It didn't deserve the game of the year award but I definitely think it deserved to be a nominee and it's definitely a game i will go back to in a few years. 9.5 I recommend it.
I played the demo of XVI ( gotta get used to that) and I must say i was really really impressed by it. The Graphics, Voice acting (Mostly) characters and most importantly and the best part of it...the gameplay! Holy hell this is the best gameplay I've played in awhile (probably the best since DMC 5 or Doom Eternal if i had to pick a benchmark) fast, smooth, and best of all simple and easy. The graphics are great but that's Square's specialty, music was good, characters were good and Clive seems to have potential to be the best Protagonist of the series in 21st century (IX-XVI) though considering his competition is Tidus, Vaan, Lightning, Noctis and VII remake Cloud that's not really much of an achievement but hey, gotta take the positives in life.
To wrap it up, the keyword is " potential " I believe this game has the potential to be the best game of the post golden age of Final Fantasy ( IV-IX ) and maybe bring the series into a new silver age. This is a demo so it's just appetizer, the not the main dish but you know what? It was the best appetizer I've had in a long long time. If the main game flops i will eat my words, I'm never afraid of being wrong. Thank you for reading this terrible " review " of a demo of a video game.

The internet tends to overhype or scare people * cough * Necron, Atomos, Yunalesca ,FFIII *coughs* when in reality it's really not that bad when you play it a few times. That's why I stopped watching YouTube for gaming unless for research or to find a specific scene.

I say I'm 60% try to stay low and 40 just keep playing. It really depends on the mood for the playthrough and even section of the game.

I finally got it, i was better off just playing game normally and using setzer a little more often and found a mini trick to manipulate Joker death. I have a problem of hyper focusing on one trophy.
