Lol! Obviously I know that fact, still it wasn't meant harm As a matter of fact I intended to follow with a comment on how hard it feels to create characters and how much i rather when games have the characters premade and named. A thing that makes me think things work this way is the fact that you either have too many options and cant decide or have too little to make someone the way you want.

The sidequests are part of the game. You have some main quests that involve the characters we already know, but doing these "errands" is part of the game. So Lightning is an errand girl but a good one. there are a lot, and there is content to do every single sidequest in the game. The thing is that its impossible to do every in the same playthrough. But I did every because I liked the game, coming from me this is pretty impressive, the games dont usually captivate me that much

Thats the one I used. Finished the game and got Platinum on it. You follow the guide all the time. it tells you where to go, the time to do stuff and shows the map of the place with the treasures in order for you to obtain, so I guess you use the guide for everything
Well you could say that, but Shenlong is actually a deity in china. the Dragon God... I used to like that anime when I was younger, but not anymore. for now its just shinryu best dragon that I care about
what if I told you that Shinryu is the japanese translation for Shenlong? Yuuuup!

Best dragon, although that one, much like the one in type 0 and ffx are all just meager reincarnations, while on the other games, its supposed to be the same dragon, since it travels through the rift and different dimensions, just like Omega, he travels to the worlds of different final fantasies, and on dissidia Opera omnia, he is literally eating the world!
Yiazmat is also supposed to be its substitute, since they are both holy dragons that are treated like gods and have absurd powers. Yiazmat and Omega MK12 are the strongest bosses in FFXII. So... Yeah Shinryu is everywhere
Oh also, Nova Dragon is also Shinryu. Same being

Just follow a guide! Trust me, do as the instructions say and it will be perfect. There will be time to grind, but it will all happen on the right time. you wont suffer if you follow it.
If you feel the world's time is running out, then do something about it, do what you should, but don't spend those moments on a game. This has nothing to do with the game but with yourself then. If theres something you gotta do, do it
as for the game, it teaches a valuable lesson for life and it is a wonderful game. So playing it is enjoyable, both gameplay wise, story wise and ambient wise
It gets frustrating by the way the game is built. The thing is, Lightning has a limited amount of time to save the world, so if you dont know what you are doing, it gets hard. Use a guide, a guide that tells you where to go so you use your time better. Do this and the game will be perfect.
If you love Lightning, you will love that game. it is doubtlessly the greatest of the 3 FF Xiii
I played the full game following a guide, and the experience was amazing, but Im sure not using one would turn it into a nightmare...
Why would you think that a mage would try to use their weapons to physically beat you? because you know, nothing like a good firaga to set your butt on fire ofc!
